Kept Eternally

*** Kept Eternally *** The causes for our weeping — From hunger to grieving — Occur — in whimpers to wailing. However, our tears, we believe, Are in themselves liquid, and, thus, silently Flowing their sad running from our eyes Along the crescents over reddenened cheeks to be Wiped away…Although they go, those tears, each Like a hologram, showing the whole of life That brought them into being here. Similarly, Just as our omnipotent God alone knows Of the each and every hair on our heads, The tears of all our yesterdays, with tomorrow’s, Recite their poetry to our loving Father and Comforter, who collects them, keeping them close Beside Him in “Book of Life,” wherein the life stories Of His of believing children are told. ———————————————————————————————————————(c) sally young eslinger 2/3/23 Thanks be to God…

Joseph, i just love your comment with its declared faith! It made me cry, actually, to read the reassurance/assurance of the promise of Heaven. Still, lately i’ve been praying for God & Heaven, what with the warring there against Evil. Tho you state truth, that our souls will reside in His peace. Thank you for reading and commenting. Honored, humbled, sally

You must be really close to God, Saly! You've written a poem that has a deeper meaning regarding life. Believing God can do anything and knew all about each individual is an article of faith. Amazingly moving spiritual poetry.

You are very closed to God! Your poem speaks more about life itself.

Hi, Cliff! I enjoyed reading you before going to sleep last night. Yes, your comment touches my intent, which is to say that Life has Routes & Soursesto/of our tears, like that bottle holding the tears of family of those dead from covid. This is like part 2 of my poem “Tears.” God bless you!
