Musings

*** MUSINGS ***

I have grown old,
thankfully,
dragging along all my ailments,
unavoidably, it seems, but endured ~ and
graced by the frequent
    florets of wisdom
adorning the rounds of circumspect musings
— those streams of sub-conscious pondering —
which then course (perhaps too much)
into my rambling soeech —
and occasionally my babbling on about dreams —
throughout whose passages, I have found
I believe
in dimensions upon dimensions of reality
wherein our thick, surrounding present
come
the symbols; geatures; motions; keys; spirits
and intuited messages —
meant to expand
any narrow notice of this life.

Please continue writing of your mussings as you call them. I'm do the same often. Our limited understanding of live and all it's possibilities causes me to think upon many thoughts that may only come to me. I think you may be receiving some of these same kinds of thoughts. Others can connect with your mussings, so please Write On! my friend. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Very profound and philosophical.... ! I can very well relate to your mental state as you muse on. Though we have grown old with ailments, we are in better light to perceive clearly wider dimensions of reality. Lovely thoughts, dear Sally !

Wonderful, thoughtful writing. "meant to expand any narrow notice of this life." Of this life, of an expanding unstoppable life outside illusion, of all lives -- all separation an illusion of consciousness. Brilliant read! Thank you.

Kudos for your musings, Sally :I believe in dimensions upon dimensions of reality wherein our thick, surrounding present come-- meant to expand any narrow notice of this life. A FAVE from me for your splendid vocabulary.

Pandit, greetings. So sweet to read your comment re your response to reading this poem since the “musings” was almost, “I Believe..” My husband inspired this after Once Again noting how i tend to ramble, which as this points out, i admit doing, but it can hone the musings, n’est pas?Thank you! Sending big hugs! sally

Seeker! Thank you! Humbling words from your masterful poet’s pen. I actually have been having a tug-of-war with npmy muse with thoughts of quitting, but poetry has a vibrant power that’s hard to refuse. Thus,,,so it goes…blessedly on…&on, i guess. May your muse, too, keep hovering near! xoxo sally
