Why I’ve Been Off PSoup…Oh nooo!

(During the past 5 weeks, my husband Jim  and I  have been suffering health problems.  
I was OK, had even been going to Physical Therapy x 2/week, & was doing well with walking
   once again (using a walker).
Jim has a genetically inherited narrow duct by the duodiun (sp?) & as this century began, so
did his problems with sudden onset of food getting backed up there.  It can cause ~ 12 +, -
hours vommitting with horrid pain.  Only treatment in hospital stops it.  This past month,
he went thru 12=days of this horror, necessitating 3 hospitalizations — so I’m without a caretaker.
(“There’s another in the fire—“ for strength) Amen!  Shout to the Lord!
Then, x2 weeks ago, severe pain began in my feet again (for which, as y’all know, I’ve had 6+
major vascular surgeries between both of my legs). Last Nov., I was hospitalized a whole mon. for this!
This coming week, another surgery on my left leg is scheduled for the 17th, as outpatient, but with 23-hour in-patient observation afterwards.
    To be honest, I’ve felt distant from writing poetry during this time.   I don’t like to write poetry sourced from pain.  I prefer creating within delight and so, I have been drawing & painting everyday instead of writing.   Not syllables, but strokes.
I wish i could figure out how to post pics so i could share my art…my artwork originating from the same inner well sourcig the poetry streams.
I miss you all so so much.  I’ve found my enery to read slowly increasing & hope to stop by your pgs. Soon!  Big hugs & Gid bless you!     sally
