Of Love Poems

I admit here that I find I am hoping and working as a poet to reach a level of excellence in writing the Love Poem.  This came naturally about three yearsago when I began writing my Devotion Poems for Jim.  I hope I might also attempt the astounding effort to write Love poems of my love for Christ, now quite too deep to touch. 

Please! Share your thoughts about writing Love poetry here, hopefully beyond the the affair failed type.  I’ve read several deeply loving epitaphs herein PSp for relatives who’ve passed.I. 

I think the expression of truths in any communication are one by one easily discernible to any reader at an age having some education, wisdom, and circumspection.
I believe Love Poetry must come emphatically from a source of truth about feelings, requited or unrequited, in their painting of that known Love relationship  being communicated.
Thus, the Address of Poetry for Love poetry — or inspiration, or source, will move deep within and require moving in the deepest wells of thought, language, and feelings to express.
Good, truthful Love poems rise from the realities ,of actual love,
