The soup is starting to smell like rotted stew!

Admins please investigate what is going on with PS and the recent reports/complaints. I really like this poetry site but it is starting to have too much animosity. Poets should not be writing poems that attack or belittle other poets. Poets should not have more than one account!!!. Poets banned in the past should not be able to come back under new names! Please take this seriously. My membership is up in June and I may look elsewhere due to this. PS does not need to lose more talented and wonderful poets due to the rotten atmosphere that is rotting the soup.

Yes, there are a lot of awesome people on this site who are very supportive and welcoming! The contests are fun to enter as well and trying new types of poetry to write that can be challenging.

Don't give up your PM in June Tania, stay and enjoy the soup it is one of the best around for learning and i will never leave despite what some folk have assumed from my 'adieu' poem. I am taking a break and am going to focus on getting my silly poems into a book which is something I've wanted to do since I gave up work in 2016 and after recent events on soup the time is right to do it. Rest assured I will be back and will be popping into soup to catch up with my favourite poets:-) hugs jan xx

I apologize for any negative comments or perspectives I may have taken ... "if you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all" and the golden rule are sentiments I try to live by, and I sometimes fail miserably. I do not know the machinations of the web site, and I don't want to cast shadows on IT or the admins, as this is a home-away-from-home for me and my peaceful refuge. It breaks my heart to see animosity of ANY kind here, and I don't wish to be one of those bitter spices in the Soup ... as purveyors of the written word, it's up to us to set the kind and loving example, and I think we all forget that sometimes in the "heat of battle", (I certainly do). Blessings all. <3

If someone is breaking a rule, just report it and we'll review the complaint. The Soupers police the soup. Please assist us.

I have reported things to Team Soup when they happen and they usually take care of it as soon as they can, just copy the comment on the poem, blog, or soupmail and send it to team soup.

I have very little knowledge in the specifics of this but as a paid lifetime member, I believe administration here should investigate and attempt to put this matter to rest. And certainly no member should be allowed to have more than one account here, IMHO. This site to me is the best on the internet but seems some want to turn it into a battleground where destroying poetry(other people's poetry) is their goal. Poetry is not warfare, nor should it ever be! nuff said..
