I found an old antique bottle at a thrift store, paid fifty cents but it was worth so much more. I assembled my bottle garden with pride and joy, having so much fun with my project like a new toy. I sat and admired my bottle garden the next night, then quickly jumped up out of my chair with fright. My bottle garden was now full of spiders and ants, crawling all over and eating my beautiful plants. I quickly tossed it outside into the trash bin, Sadly, my noxious bottle garden was not a win.

Very delightful and enjoyable. A bottle garden is a joy to look at and own. But its maintenance needs expertise and great care. All the Best Tania !

We gardeners have to stick together. I most enjoyed your bottle garden posting, Tania. It's too bad the insects won out. Fiction or not. Gardens get my vote. Be well. Brian

Great job to plant a bottle garden. You should have covered it for the night and used some spray for the pesky animals and spiders. The internet is full of advice on such matters. None the less, a lovely though sad poem. Hugs.

Your bottle garden had to get tossed, too! Awww what a shame, just like our first entries for this contest.
