night hunting
night sounds awaken
as eerily shrills echo~
ominous mantra
plumed wings cast shadows
reflecting in the moonlight~
twilight prey tango
birds hidden in nests
quietly guarding fledglings ~
nocturnal mission
a night heron squawks
while motionless in the marsh~
still fishing pursuit
