Silhouette
Shifting shadows sculpt ebony edges,
Inking boundaries 'twixt twilight and Dusk.
Light's tethered to shapeshifting silhouettes,
Highlights shadowed, defused differences.
Out of chaos, scattered structures conjoin,
Utilizing rays of a setting sun.
Etched upon the fringes of Night and Day,
The trees begin to merge with the background:
Time pauses, almost standing still, as Dusk
Erases the colors garnered by Day.
