Notes About The Poem

Thanks to the poets who have contacted me saying how much they miss my poems. To be honest I deliberately took a break from posting on soup after snide comments about 'poop poetry' but I will not let the bullies win. I have been focussing on writing new material for my second book 'Toilet Humour and Risque Rhymes' When it is finished I'm hoping it will be a best smeller on Amazon!

THE QUEEN OF POOP FIGHTS BACK!


Some numpty bad mouthed my soup style
I’ve taken a break for a while
But I won't be deterred
From writing about turd
And subjects some others deem vile

I’m producing book number two
It contains some poems on poo
Foul flatus departing
Old codgers rank farting
And my pet hate vile doggy doo!

Hi Jan, the bullies are snooty and smug. My family and I think potty humor is comic relief from this troubled world. Keep on penning :)

Great stuff Jan. I share here one my father inserted into a Christmas cracker: There was an old man from South Harting Who simply could not stop farting. As he rose from his chair, He cried out in despair, “The seams of my trousers are parting!”

Dear Jan, It's amazing how so many consider poop vile when it's just the efficiency of our bodies that God designed, taking in succulent food to nourish us and expelling the rest. Keep at it Ms. Pooperina!
