In my garden I have planted flowers,
and it is here I find inspiration;
a place to ponder and think for hours,
a garden of green that gives me powers,
I love it too in gentle rain showers,
among the bright blooms I find creation.
In my garden I have planted flowers,
and it is here I find inspiration.
Among the bright blooms I find creation,
I work to make a quiet tranquil place;
a garden to let go of frustration,
with the drooping daisies is salvation,
with a rose I have a conversation,
singing birds drift into my garden space.
Among the bright blooms I find creation,
I work to make a quiet tranquil place.
Singing birds drift into my garden space,
a flat stone is for butterflies basking;
the hummingbird's wings are a thing of grace,
I feel the glowing sunshine kiss my face,
the solitude and beauty I embrace,
in this place- just peace I am asking.
Singing birds drift into my garden space,
a flat stone is for butterflies basking.
