I haven't been here much, but imagine my surprise when I hear from pd and she says that TPS banned her? I said, "What?!"

This has really saddened her, and I think it goes both ways, so many others, like me, are also sad that this happened. It just really boggles me why she was banned?

I know I am not that active here, but me and pd go a long way (we had the fun and crazy times here together with others), it has been a roller coaster ride for pd here on Soup. But come on, I can't imagine Soup without pd. 

TPS, please please un-ban her! I know that Cyndi posted a petition blog already, but I am also putting up this blog in support of pd. I guess to reinforce Cyndi's blog, and so TPS can see how pd is a valued member here, with more blogs and posts that want to bring her back.

pd (Linda) has earned her followers her and for good reason. I know that she spends a lot of time supporting other Soupers, so maybe this can be a way of somehow giving back that love and support. Let's show our support and love for pd and ask TPS to please let her access her account again...

I know that pd thinks of Soup as a second home, please don't close the doors on her.

On a personal note, thank you pd, for the friendship throughout the years. I know this goes beyond the Soup....hugging you now heart

Linda will have my support long after Tps becomes digital dust. As far as im concerned TPS are as big of bullies as the ones always goung after Linda. Perhaps they are in cahoots. TPS you show your true colors by taking away ones right to stand up for herself while condining far worse coming from her accusors. Ive lost all respect for this place. Carl

Nikko, I've never been a fan of anyone being banned, blocked, removed. I'm not even happy when poets leave. I remember when Fred was removed, I was sad, regardless the pain he was, Fred was kind in a strange way. When Giorgio got kicked out, I was not happy, even though we never became friends again, he was interesting and made us laugh. When Ian, got kicked out, I was angry, it was wrong. That meant losing BEV. So I am no fan of letting anyone go. This is not about ego's or petition, but I do think our time is up. SKAT & LINDA. But, then I go back and think of all the new poets who might have a chance in growing with the community and their writing. I owe my writings to this site. Everyone in this site is a part of my writings. I'm talking about EVERYONE, no one is left out. My family, friends, enemies, those who think little of me, especially those who envy and adore me. I try to write better now because I know they are watching my every move. I write and take my time because I too one day want to be great, like the greatest of this site. They know who they are.

The reason Poetry Soup is a good place to be is because of PD. She is a constant source of encouragement, support, and inspiration to so many of us here. She voices genuine concerns. She truly is an incredibly gifted poet. Please, bring back PD.

This has to be some mistake. Why would they suspend PD? If someone left a comment like that on one of my poems I'd probably get a little radical myself! BRING BACK OUR LINDA!

Nikko, a few months back, someone wrote a poem about Linda, calling her a stupid poet. Together we launched and looked up the poet. I brought it to her attention. I will not say who we linked the Mistress too but it was plain as day. I decided to take a small vacation after that. Linda might have laughed, but I know it bothered her. Today she told me she is okay with the block. I know she is not. She has to pretend this does not hurt her. I know it does. She's trying to be strong. This day will fade, but her smiles never will. I will not even think of soup if Linda can't return. It will be more than a small gap. I like to think WE have a small impact on this site. I just hope TPS has a forgiving heart. For whatever Blog Linda did post. Hugs SUPERWOMAN. SKAT

Sorry, can't reply to each one individually right now... ok, is banned the same as blocked? I suppose it is, right? Been chatting with pd earlier, and according to her, whenever she tries to log in to Soup, it won't allow her, and states that she has been blocked by administration. will try to get back here later....

If she is banned the admin need their heads testing, did I get a welcome to the soup from a admin no, but got a lovely welcome from pd , advice on poems pd , support pd, contests pd , limerick inspiration pd and skat lift the ban on pd :-(

It would be wrong to throw off PD when she has done so much for the community. i do not really know why exactly she got banned. Like Rob says at the bottom of all these comments, perhaps it is a temporary ban. I surely hope so!! It would be awful if you were gone forever, PD!! You are just "one of the family" here!!

Actually, if that comment isn't removed by tomorrow morning, I will figure out who to contact in the way of cyber crimes... that is a death threat... "I will kill for you." kill who and in today's world, you do not say this EVER. It's not only perverse, it is criminal.

Way to go Nikko!!! I hope the blog boards flood. I hope Soupers write 10 poems each that say, FREE PD! I hope everyone says, please, just open the door. The horrible man who left a message on her poem? It's obvious he has been harassing her! Nikko, so glad you posted, too! I hope every PM posts a blog, a simple blog that says we want PD back! No mudslinging, no judgement, nothing but ... give us back our PD.

Hello Nikko As you know I also I am not here that often but on the odd occasion I am I always read Tex, (PD) and I am always blown away by her work, I have no idea who said what, but the idea of Poetry Soup without her is like a poem without words or feeling, she is a stalwart of this site and TPS should be ashamed to even think of banning her. I would suggest they think very quickly and re-instate her so she can carry on what she does as what she does is the backbone of this site...

I dont know what happened Nikko..Didnt see the blog friends are referring to..All I know is banning any souper is sad, let along a souper who ve been here for about five or six years..and reads so many soupers..This is sad.Im with you Nikko.

What the hell's going on here on soup, and the poem that as been lodge here, by the person that left the filthy comment on Pd's poem, both a absolute disgrace. Room here for a miscarriage of justice surly, never mind the filth soup is allowing to stay on this site!
