'acknowledge Your Mind's Worth'

Words sometimes fail To bring across the emotion felt When the comforting carpet Is pulled out from under you How did things get to this point? How did I not see this coming? Filtering through are the particles When the confusion has subsided You are still here, That must be a sign Of your willpower Of your ability to look beyond The ties that were broken Time for you to be a little selfish Sometimes things have a premature end But we keep on holding on Only to realize, what you treasured Was exactly what you needed in that space During that particular time It’s time to move on, To other things Just our hearts are sometimes little slow In grasping what our minds are trying to tell us... We need to acknowledge our minds has an opinion too

We all need to listen more closely and act less quickly. I think our heart disconects at time to heal or simply to rest a while. Beautiful messages written within your lovely verses.

I shall call you the wise Missy-- this honestly spoke to me. Real loudly. Don't worry, it didn't shout at me, just loud enough to make a deep impression with me. I'll be ruminating on this like a cow for days--hehe what can I say sometimes that heart speaks louder than the mind? So ok I will tell heart to whisper and for mind to speak up.. Thank you for sharing this and I hope that the new year welcomed you with fuzzy, warm arms :) --uh-oh was that the Abominable snowman? I hope not! Mwahugs!!

What's in our minds collide with hopes. And the crash of the two may leave one or both inoperable depending on the speed they were traveling.
