How Softly, Deeply

In silence, undisturbed tonight,
how softly, deeply Winter creeps,
imparting token mounds of white.
In silence, undisturbed tonight,
Full Moon, who casts pearlescent light,
is keeper of a world that sleeps
in silence undisturbed tonight.
How softly, deeply Winter creeps.
