this is ridiculous... i posted a new challenge only to find out that the text , rules, and pictures were not included.. to those who have entered, kindly revise your pieces...

the main body goes like this, and so on...

write a NEW  four-line poem wherein  you take the last word of each line and begin it with the next .. maintain the meter using 8 syl per line…

example:

Robins chant of a twilight’s grace

Grace that awakens field’s new morn;

Morn swathed by bamboo glades, dripping

Dripping on  Aurora’s  tresses.

Nette, thanks for sharing example of four line poem. You've inspired me... About movie i can watch over and over again? "Dr Zhivago" comes to mind "To Sir With Love" and, "The Liberation of L.B. Jones" to name a few.

This definitely sounds like fun---I'm game....now where do I go to post it? My favourite movie not very many out there now so I will go back to the first movie I could cry and fall in love with the star all over again--- was O'l Yellar! (sp.)? And the dog was the star alongside his boy master...I was eight at the time. Ah young love!

yes, Nette, I have informed Soup of what is going on with contests. just wish it would get resolved. Did you notice that once you put your info up and it disappears, you can go back and re enter it and it comes on?? Well, I hope it is still like that, for when I do my next contest. Good luck. Oh, a movie I can watch again and again. There really isn't one since my goal in life is to see all movies ever made, but if forced to, I could sit through West Side story a few times!! My first all time fave musical.

This is wonderful challenge and I am looking forward to selecting one of those awesome visuals and write you a beauty, I have a question which I will send in a soupmail in a moment , I actually have two movies I watch over and over, first is The Body Guard and the other is Titanic .. I see a pattern here, both are sappy love stories

Yes you can get the DVD for this one, I've watched it many times over the years. Although it's set during ww2 it's not a war film, 1958 in black an white.

Nette I now save my contest details into word and then when the details do not appear first time I paste them into the original contest and hey presto it appeared second time for me - I do like Casablanca as a film dont think I really have a favourite unless you would class the BBC adaptation of Pride and prejudice and i can watch Colin Firth as Mr Darcy time and time again lol:-) Hugs jan xx
