Brian Strand's Your Choice A Contest
Beneath strands of citrine dangling in the sky arms glitter on a Moulin Rouge display, neon bulbs flirt with the Arc spinning high its rich tableu, like pastel from Monet. And streets float on floods of traffic yellow unleashing a thousand monarchs on flames, scenting an evening airbrushed by Van Gogh as figures grind on roulette of oiled frames. - Paris night , after 9 pm...a few years back Third place

Dearest Nette, O' suc a dazzling night in Paris-alive with color, movement, and memory. I felt the city’s pulse in every line: neon lights, whirling arms, and the golden hush of nostalgia. You painted the Moulin Rouge and its wild, electric spirit with such vivid grace, I could almost smell the evening air. The magic of Paris after dark. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

I have to admit I am not a big fan of Paris, I've been a couple of times and had an unsavoury experience.. however your poem is lovely and sets a lovely scene..
