Notes About The Poem
Joseph May's Alphabeth Soup Poetry Contest... 20Jan 25

Embers Of Night

Afterglow...Burnt Candles
Dissolve Embers,
Fondled Groans Heave
Into Joyful Kindling...
Lush Moon's Nightscape Offers
Pleasure-- Quiet Ripples Sighing, Trickling
Under Velvet Whispers...
X-axis Yielding Zones.

Nette.. My favorite flavor in this sensual drink is how you mixed it.. intimacy to warmth, love’s tension to quietness. This goes down so beautifully (I’d love to make it a double).

Nette, candles make me think of joy and light. Sounds like there's company all around and the scene seems very pleasant. Smiles!!

I found this contest so challenging. I had almost given up. Then some ideas came into mind. After reading yours, more ideas come into me. But I fail to connect them. Well done! All the best, dear Nette.
