Autumn Beguiles

Comes autumn with grasslands and
  trees ornate
As mauve pallet begins to recreate
The exuberance of a new season's
   girth;
While air tangy floats on lamplight, its
   mirth
Enkindling comfort as time breathes a
   while
To relish life's harvest ... senses
    beguile;
When lovers, elders under moon
   embrace
Slow-dance of fall ... twigs dropping
   their lace:
For only autumn's flair can grant relief--
Through hope , upon cycle's tint, leaf to
  leaf!

Nette, a beautiful tribute to autumn. You make me stop and think about a lot of different things. You cover it all and make it look so easy to do so.

Autumn, dear poet has the scent of romance, maybe it's the musk of dying leaves, or perhaps it's the need to be warm together...your poem inspires
