Autumn Beguiles
Comes autumn with grasslands and
trees ornate
As mauve pallet begins to recreate
The exuberance of a new season's
girth;
While air tangy floats on lamplight, its
mirth
Enkindling comfort as time breathes a
while
To relish life's harvest ... senses
beguile;
When lovers, elders under moon
embrace
Slow-dance of fall ... twigs dropping
their lace:
For only autumn's flair can grant relief--
Through hope , upon cycle's tint, leaf to
leaf!
