By The Squeaky Gate


Swish of  ripples weave
 along a ledge...my hands pretending 
to rap beneath inked  stars ;
while soft winds chime a lonely chorus
filling the shoreline 
with empty rhythm and blues;
the ones which lightly twitch my heart--

Every note jangling, crawling
 in this stained night...
for the love I know best 
gushes out, unnoticed and aloof,
still I pray " by the squeaky old gate
that tomorrow will find" him...as mine:

seasons pass like long processions 
 that in final screams of angst, 
I learn to dance alone...

you're not dancing alone dear poet.....each time that i read one uv your writes, off my mind goes; thinking uv all thuh pretty thingz i could say to thuh lonely pretty girl...."can ya feel me spinning with you girl...uh dip and uh kiss, now that's a dance!" oh my bad...this iz whut sum uv your writes do to this flusterble artist...luv'd thuh read...ty for brightening my day, i just got out uv thuh hospital....lol, and yes, i took my computer...no writing for a week....not....much love
