SYLLABLE COUNT - Nette Onclaud's Blog

since most of my recent challenges are based on syllables, i am now realizing that websites have different counters....

the most reliable one is www.howmanysyllables.com which was recommended by a good friend, kashinath ...

the word ' PIER' contains one syllable and while judging my last contest, a few missed this... likewise, i emailed TPS as a winner, Dr. Ram Mehta was not included in the winning list, no matter how i tried  to post his entry. " Evening On The Pier"...he won 3rd place, so let's congratulate him for a job well done!..

special citation goes to Frederick Parker for his splendid work, except for a 7--syl line...

thank you for supporting this creative exercise... you were all incredible !

( i went for those who gave me a heart-kick and considered my criteria for judging)...

my new challenge is now posted... it's another poetic ride based on, well, syllabic requirements!... join in ,dear soupers!...i'm into this brevity mode of late...  huggs!
