AI poetry and related art is not going away anytime soon. In fact, it is growing and will continue to grow and proliferate. Below I offer a reasonable compromise for the problem as it relates specifically to this site.

Admins should create a separate category for AI poetry and related art. This would include AI generated images, videos and music. Anyone wanting to create AI poetry and/or related art would be free to post here. 

No AI poetry or related art would be permitted as a standard post. This would mean that anything entered as a standard post could not contain anything AI created. 

Admins would modify their rules to reflect the above. In addition, the rules would include wording such as this: Anyone posting AI poetry or related art as a standard post will be issued a warning. If a second infraction occurs after the warning, account will be deleted. 

How to determine AI. If a poet suspects that a standard post contains AI poetry, said poet will run the poem through three trusted AI checkers. If all three checkers determine the poem is more than fifty percent AI, said poet will then report the poem to admins. Admins will attempt to confirm the poem is AI using their own trusted AI checker and if so take appropriate action as outlined above.

Why this makes sense. Again, AI is not going away, no matter how much some may wish it. This compromise makes allowance for those who wish to utilize AI to create art. At the same time, it sets terms for using such responsibly as well as mandatory repercussions for using it improperly.
