What I miss most, a kind thought, a small word how we shared, the "memories" and moments A hug in the wind--- nothing is absurd with you. . your friendship and your tenderness What I miss most, is how you made me smile when we shared the humor, and not the rhyme . . Advice and reason, truth being in style respect was given, each and every time What I miss most, is "anywhere we are" we share in peace, harmony and prayers too "Just reach out, I will never be too far" "Think of me- turn my way," and "I'll lift you" What I miss most, humor and not the rhyme respect with a hug, each and every time __________________ "Cheers to the wish you were here, but you’re not” Thank you for being unique, for being You ~ For Tommy ~ Songs: Memories- Maroon 5 The Beu Sisters, Anytime You Need a Friend Author’s Note: I choose my friends wisely. There are only a few in my life that have used me and my heart. I am very careful with whom I allow into my world. Trust and respect go together.

Missing someone dear to us touches so many emotions - gratitude, sadness, longing, happiness, memories of good times, a sense of injustice, mutual respect for choices we've made. Such a tender poem of longing fueled by sweet memories, Brandy. Having moved away from my childhood home and friends, I truly relate to this poem.
