Part 1...“A Book” I liked John Watts comment best: sensual in an understated way, dear friend. I love the idea of between "Great Expectations" and "Gone With the Wind". Brilliant! The thought of being your lover's book and asking to take a look and touch me... reading a book can be a tactile experience, and is a lovely metaphor for romantic affection….

Very kind of you to write this senryu for your friend who stood by you through thick and thin. We don’t always find that, and funny how sometimes friends we meet online cosmically seems to understand and be there for us more than those in real life. She surely seems to be a nice lady.
