Red Moon Rising

Red Moon Rising

A beat of my heart skips
When I hear of the event lunar eclipse
Blood moon illuminating Earth’s umbras
Dust and darkness overwhelming auras
Yellow and orange glows hindrance in its surface
Blood moon rising show us the angel’s purpose.
How Gods anger shall reign upon arrival of
The spiritual war that shall come from above.
Death and Hades followed by the Source,
An omen with tales of riding a pale horse.
Ashes blind first with an advent purple haze.
Drunk on a crimson moon in the end of days.
A beat of my heart skips
When I hear of the event lunar eclipse

There is something about the eclipse and the blood moons that has something to do with the approaching of the end of days but I am not sure exactly when all of this is going to happen but I know that we are headed in the direction of the end. Congratulations on your winnning work. Way to go. Thanks for sharing it with us and for dropping by my page. Sara

Belated Ty, Sara. Reminiscing on 2023 and yes Revelations was the theme I'd chosen as the red moon suggests Revelations. You are welcome!

Wonderful poem, Anaya. Good luck in the contest. I am so glad you got your book. Yes, it is my art work. All my books cover are paintings I have painted. I should have had the first cover glossy as well it would have looked nicer; now I know.
