I have discovered that I love to research and write about historical and political events. The Internet is my tool; I didn't have such sophisticated aids during my youhthful development. Many are stunned awake to learn what I have been able to incorporate into my poetry. And fiction. Most of my poems are fiction. I enjoy it very much. The contests are writing challenges with a broad variety of poetry forms for learning, and a marvelous platform for presenting congratulatory comments and support for one another. I'm here to improve my writing skills with poetic devices and to keep markers on special days—journals!
