I kissed the Moon

I kissed the moon tonight, enveloped with quartz amulets of Luna as luminous streams of stars paint my poetic sky glazed in citrine dust tracing rain dews in your eyes to cleanse these scars I hide within teal rivers, swiftly ferrying lanterns whilst wishing upon the Milky Way that your cosmic rhymes would save my aching soul from drowning , so take my heart, engrave love

Empress Empress. Good Morning. Excellent execution of the nonet and then the reversal. I always thought the format doesn't get the credit it is due. Your theme is a winner and tops with me as is your title to which you did not stray. Yes, exactly on engraving hears. How beautiful is that. Very. It was an honor turning to your page this morning. May the poetic pen be with you always. Peace Blessings and Light always as well. (smile)

Oh, Ink Empress. You've left your quill in some space shuttle, --and if Charlton Heston's your pilot--don't get off the ship till you reach your written words, my friend. Aloha, William

You have written a nonet.... ! I too tried one. The immediate thought that crossed my mind on reading yours is this- Your nonet has the luminosity of the moon and the brilliance of several stars. Mine has the haze of a paling star or the dying light of a tottering wick. Your poems are so exquisitely beautiful dear Empress! Let your rhymes wake my drowsy imagination.

How will anyone compete against this nonet? It is a good thing you cant enter your own contest.. I crown you the nonet queen! I kissed the moon once, I still have stardust on my lips from her kiss... nice use of metaphor.. you can do any form so well...

Awh, this is such a sweet write! I absolutely adore your wordplay here, dear Ink.. And that title especially, it's so profound and fascinating, gosh.. "I kissed the moon tonight, enveloped with quartz amulets of Luna", "paint my poetic sky","streams of stars","glazed in citrine dust"- Everything is so magical, profound, celestial and orchestrating with heavenly bliss here, sprinkled with dazzling pixie dusts of the most miraculous fairies.Love this cosmic nonet so much, it warms my heart to read
