Thank you to all who have participated thus far in the Poetry should be Felt contest. I concede that Suzette Prime is a challenging poetic form to write; you have to juggle the right (involving creativity) and left (the seat of language skills) hemisphere functions of your brain. A bit like walking and chewing bubble gum at the same time … It has been found that poets have a high level of development in the interactions between these two hemispheres. Then there is the frontal lobe – the largest lobe of the brain. The frontal lobe plays a role in regulating emotions in interpersonal relationships and social situations.

Past Incorrect Examples of Suzette Prime
Suzette Prime is a well-established poetic form (since 2012)* and the fact that a number of poets on PoetrySoup habitually get it wrong, is the reason why AI produced rubbish when I called upon it to generate an example poem. I did it to test AI, and it failed miserably at is task when it (per its basic artificial intelligence design) plagiarised the existing text found here at PoetrySoup (the main source of example Suzette Prime poems). See my blog where I highlighted the common mistakes made.
This is the main reason why I have sponsored a Suzette Prime contest within 6 months of the last one: to get some correct examples listed on PoetrySoup.

Allowances Made
I made allowances for the presentation of the Suzette Prime poems entered into this contest, but the NO PUNCTUATION rule stands outside of this contest, for the reasons given in my blog dated 18 June (link below). My example poem under the Definition of Suzette Prime (Types of Poems), illustrates this rule in practice.
Similar to Free Verse, it is not chopped up sentences, or a narrative/prose poem. It is in meaningful phrases (similar to all East Asian poetry – the source of the basic design format and presentation).

Common Errors in this Contest
Content not honouring the brief and syllable count errors are the main reasons why poems are being rejected, and to a lesser extent: the capitalisation of the first word in lines.
The main stumbling block in my Suzette Prime contests (this one and the one I hosted end of last year) seems to be the number 9 – it is NOT a prime number. Some great poems have to be rejected due to this error. I did list the prime numbers on the contest page, as well as in my relevant blog to this contest (listed first above). The onset of the prime number line is listed in the Definition of Suzette Prime under Types of Poems.
There are still a few days left to revise your contest entry. If you make any changes to your poem, please follow the following procedure (it only pertains to the actual text in the Poem Textbox, and not to the NOTES section of your page). And remember: DO NOT repeat the title of your poem in the Poem Textbox (per PoetrySoup rules).

Our Relationships
Some relationships continue long after it had obviously become a cliché. What I initially liked about this site was the vast array of poetic expressions in an environment where individuality and creativity were celebrated. Somewhere along the line, while we were not looking, we have lost this collective cohesion. The psychology behind it: In a household where the children are always bickering, one usually finds that there is not enough love to go around. But in the Soup Bowl, there is enough love to go around; we just need to find our own tribe.

I find myself in a liminal space … It is time for me to take up one of my long neglected hobbies: watercolour painting. Am I any good at it? It does not matter as with all hobbies, it is the practice of the art and not doing it for accolades. Similar to poetry, the feelings you express are unique to you and if you can touch someone else, evoking feelings via your art, you have succeeded in your goal.
Happy quills!
Suzette
