Pulchritudinousness, the beauty beheld Uncaptured with looks unparalleled Likened to mythical being, nymph perhaps Can this beauty lure the naive like me into traps Rapture comes over me, takes over my will Into the fray despite standing still Taken over by need to know and be known Inspired by feelings I'm not sure are my own Desiring to be desired, held in their gaze Incandescence and melancholic haze Nymph I will follow where'er you go Oh see me! Let me know what you know Undeniable grasp you have on my heart Say this isn't the end, take me back to the start

This to me should have placed higher seeing as contests are supposed to be about learning (new words and skills?). AND having fun. - according to some ... I love this well thought out and crafted acrostic, DD.

Excellent acrostic Dilly, pulchritudinousness what a great word, yes it certainly has an hypnotic like draw to the observer, one we’re very reluctant to let go of, captured beautifully in your final line, say this isn’t the end, take me back to the start, so I read it over and over again, cheers David
