Dear Suzzette, Your poem wonderfully encapsulates the bittersweet essence of memories and loss. The image of the autumn leaf clinging to the last branch evokes a poignant reflection on friendship and the enduring presence of those we hold dear. This heartfelt piece. - Blessings, Daniel

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts here, Daniel. Yes. I did use the analogy of nature to reflect the loss of a friend.

A seemingly unimportant leaf, one of hundreds or even thousands, yet preserved now for eternity as a bookmark for a precious memory. Vibrant poetry
