Haha thank you. I do think it's one not necessarily appreciated on first sight! Thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed working on this one and felt choosing something commonplace but rarely used in poetry might be more original than if I chose something widely regarded for it's beauty:)

Pretty much. They are made of wood over here and I thought the wires look like tree roots. Plus roots being a connection. Hehe

You nailed it! Yes, it does resemble a tree with its roots in the air ... That is what I love about poetry: interpretation is in the eye of the reader. :))

Thanks Suzette, your spider plant one inspired me to give this style another try. I just couldn't grasp it the other day and kept just writing a description. Less pressure to glance out of the window and write about what's there!
