caught napping resting on our past laurels never served anyone well in twilight of existence Earth is retaliating and jolted into action which we might very well now regret awakening I’ve no tears left for mankind never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake*

Beautifully said Su, I agree that Mother earth is retaliating and will protect as any mother would do. Thankfully the world is waking up and trustfully it's not too late. Hugs Maria

Dear suzette, what a heartfelt and sincerely expressed poem. I have also those moments, when humankind disappoint me , and I absolutely love “ I’ve no tears left for mankind “ spot on! “ never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake” how did i not know that quote! Oh, Inky. I was ill this past week (running a fever) and I 'woke up' to the uncomfortable truth of our twilight years. Thank you for reading and getting to the core of my message.
