Frozen to the Core, by Suzette Richards - image generated.

if a tree should fall and there is no one to hear it not even the merest susurrus for a poet to capture the moment the encomium will cease with each slight each rejection of the light and acknowledgement withheld the all encompassing existence of all called into question the glacier crevasses gape to engulf the whole however frozen to the core we must remain undaunted on a steady bedrock of the conviction that all existence isn’t in vain if we can dream it we will not fade away like unalterable photographs from bygone eras we are the essence the stases holding reality of all life in the balance 23rd April 2023 A Wisdom Download Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Unseeking Seeker 3rd Place Title changed AFTER the judging of the contest.

Thank you, DD. Seeing as I did not know the day of the month ... Maybe I should drink less coffee :)

Hi Suzette...I take it that Suzette Prime is your very own poetry form, so congratulations to you! The poem itself has a philosophical touch to it. I am convinced that my existence so far has not been in vain! ~ Best regards // paul

I automatically shortened your name, without thinking, but good thing you pointed it out because it is quite easy to mix people up...in fact editing my original right now :)

Suzette Prime is listed here on PS since 2012, and yes, I am indeed the author of this poetic form and it has been shared even in academic books. I'm very proud of it and find the new direction (as mentioned in my poem, Passion) a pleasure to persue. Thanks for reading and your comment, Paul. Regards, Suzette

I like this one Suzette - all the poem sits behind the words, waiting to surge into the minds of those receptive to its message. Haha I also enjoy that you have 23c of April - I imagine you are granted 3 of each day because you have very important tasks to complete ;)

You've put 23c April instead of 23rd April. Not sure whether it's a typo or a thing but due to your level of sophistication I made a joke about you being you - getting April 23a 23b and 23c to complete all your important tasks :)
