Dear Soup Poets,

I know we've all expressed our thoughts and opinions on poets taking up lots
 of space  on the new poem list.

A friend from the soup send me soup mail, asking "how does she approach
another poet who was pushing poems off the new poems list?" Well I scanned the new poetry poem list, and one poet had over 20 poems in one sitting, another poet had 9 almost 10..lol.
Well supposedly she recently posted a poem in which she said was pushed off in 8 hours.
Anyways~
I told her, there was nothing she could do, but accept!
This is always gonna happen here, cuz we have unlimited posting.

Okay, we all know why the soup allows us to post unlimited poems.
It' all has to do with the community points. I guess I am lacking poems..LOL.. 

Okay but I'm hear for another similar reason...
I've seen many new poets posting the same poem over and over...

here's an example on our new poems list.

well, John pushed off who knows who.. :-( i did not see the poems...
poor Debra & Sara and Rick, will be pushed off soon,,,
Now Mr John's, posted over 25 poems in one sitting.
In which now are finally being pushed off
by some poet who posted 21 of the same poems

You will see this poem  over 21 times on today's list....

Now the question is, why is that allowed.
It makes no sense...
I know, I know! He is new and does not know he has mistakenly
clicked and posted the same poem over and over.


The question is, has anyone approached this poet?
Do we even alert poets when they are posting the same poem over and over?
I think that a little different, from posting21 poems with different titles.

Well I hope Rose, Jack, Russell, and others don't get pushed off the same way.

Once again, I agree with other who would like the soup  limit our poems per day.
Maybe 10 per day.

I think this is one of the main reasons,
I don't visit the new poem list, as much as I want or use too.

"don't put all your goods in the shop window" is a motto to bear in mind...I don't really know why they do it because if people see a load of poems posted in a row by the same person they tend not to bother reading them anyway; it is annoying in that it pushes everyone else down and off the list, it just seems a bit inconsiderate...having said that, I think a few people genuinely post the same poem several times by accident...I do still look at the 'poems - new' list, otherwise I'm liable to miss a few gems, but I just skip past a row of poems by the same person...I should be so lucky that I would be able to write that many in a day, let alone post them!!

charlotte, one person is renaming the poems with different titles. But a few times I checked out the ten to twenty posts of poems they were making and it was the exact same poem just with different titles. and not even poems, just little sentences. It is ridiculous.

Andrea, I thought of you and what you said about the "new poems -by poet" when I posted this blog;-) and yes, Andrea, I agree with you and that dumb list i never pay attention too. Unless I want to annoy a poet, and read all his or her poems at once.. JK* I would not like to be a part of that list, I don't even have enough main brain as it is for 3 poems a day ... he he, I'm happy with my 300 poems or less.

PD, Like I always tell people, DON'T ever LOOK at the list that permits one person to dominate the list. that list does not even exist for me. I only see the one called "new poems -by poet" That is so wrong to post the same poem over and over and over again. There is another poet who is posting the same poem over and over but this person is disguising it with different titles. It is very annoying to go to the poems of that person and see they are all the same short poem but with different titles. I guess these poets are trying to get themselves on the list for posting the most poems. That is a stupid list to show here. just my opinion.

I have nothing against poets who post 10 poems or above... In my nick nick, opinion, it kind of isn't fair to the ones who want to get read, or are looking for honest feedback. always~ PD
