Stir of Echoes

Stir of echoes Run through my mind I see them there All the time Where do they come from And why are they there Echoes all around me I try to erase them Echoes out of time They're on repeat All the time Stir of echoes Is what I hear They're getting Closer all the time Stir of echoes Is what I hear The closer I get The more I fear I'm losing my mind!

Hmmm. Very interesting! I know what it means to be distracted and to be triggered by what is happening around. The things we need to do can seem almost impossible when all is not right with our world and ourselves. In hindsight, it helps me to understand what other people are going through today. Thank-you for the memory jog. The past is never that far away when something comes from out of the blue and it's deja vue.

this reminds me of a lifetime movie I saw about a girl who was hearing voices. She was schizophrenic. They really do believe in the voices. I think if one fears he is losing his mind, that means one is still has control of his faculties. This one is fascinating. Hope it's just you putting yourself into another person's shoes and not really going crazy! (or you may be writing of something else, like memories perhaps?)

Yeah. It's like a tune that keeps running through your head - sometimes a tune you hate. Robert Schumann had an A-440 running through his head constantly - drove him mad. I can get into the space very well. Congrats on the selection. daver
