Well...I've had my gifted premium membership now for a little over a month...How times flies!

I am my sixth contest, and thank you so much everyone who is participating, I like to think it is because I give good prompts and you all know I place by content not by artist...anyway that being said..I do have a couple of little issues I wanted to ask..

I noticed this on my last contest a poet had entered his write, but it never showed up on my list...I judged my contest, finalized everthing, and now when I log in, his entry is waiting in round one...Odd...I also did notice that a contest I have finalized three weeks ago has two new enteries...not only was that contest closed the two entries have made it exceed the 35 poem limit I had on my contest. Oddly as well another contest has dropped from 35 entries to 32 even after it has been judged...

So now it's got me questioning, Am I doing something wrong when I close the contest? Am I missing more enteries.... And so poets who have entered my contest with awesome writes and didn't get placed, I have no idea why some poems did not make it through until after I had posted the results.

Again I do want to thank everyone for joining my contest, I just love doing this, this membership was such an awesome gift, I want to stop time just so I could enjoy it longer!

Casarah, I doubt you are doing it wrong. These are what I call GLITCHES. in my last contest, the same poem appeared twice!! And though my contest said 35 entries, it was actually 34 at that time! I don't know what is up with all of this. Others have had similar weird experiences. wE just have to hope it does not happen to often!!

.Hi Cas, if a contest drops from 35 to 32, the poet deleted his/her poem completely. There is no way a poet can remove a poem still standing, once you finalize the contest completely. However, a poem can be removed, when a contest is not finalized. Another question someone might ask. How is it, when a sponsor asks for 35 entries, then received 38 entries. The answer is easy! I've seen this done in my contest so many times. Let's say you are entering a contest, that has one spot left. A contest asking for 35, you click on it when the contest has one opening left at 34. But, at the same time, another poet clicks on the very same contest the very exact moment. To enter the same contest, then "walla" you got two entries at the very last moment, spiking it from 34 to 36.

hmm okay, yeah I was surprised when it jumped two weeks after I closed a contest, but it might have just been a glitch like that, thanks for answering my questions! Mystery solved :) :)
