Dark Kiss

Lightening streaks in thundering black hair,
Love was stolen from the soul at first sight.
Shadowed eyes, Marilyn Manson disguise,
She haunted my daydreams at night.

Poison kiss cherry lipstick lingers
On this deadly cold face of mine,
Mouth to mouth would be ineffective
And that would be just fine.

Feeling like shattered glass in a castle
I gave this wicked woman my throne
Entwined in the vines of her fingers
In the silence I heard her throat moan.

Then it was over as fast as she came
I lay in a pool of warm masquerade
Decayed roses fall far from the thorn
And from this angel I am devil made.
