Burned Down

flames breath detroit smog
graveyard houses
once upon a time thriving
vanishing in black smoke
hundred year old oak
releasing charcoal leaves
perish and purge
the past is ash

the future is born from a landfill

The story of 'uplifting' poor communities ...A thoughtful reminder. Kind wishes, Kai
