Lovely Poems - Maureen McGreavy The Insolent Rib's Blog

I have been made aware on more than one occasion that "Lovely Poem" is not an appropriate or intellectually up to snuff comment to submit. When I say "lovely poem", it is what I feel; of the composition, thought and artistry come together to create a piece of art. I have a traumatic brain injury which makes reading and thinking difficult, I rely on my emotional senses. When I can't find the words because so many are swirling in my head, I find the one that best describes how I feel. It is how I think, it is how I write, it is how I comment. Basically, the more effort I put into composing an appropriate response for a poem, the more taxing it is on my brain, which will result in anxiety (physical) and less ability to read at all. Please know, that when I say "lovely poem", it is what I mean.
