Maureen, it all seems so strange that we're in the midst of a measles outbreak in the US. It seems to be slowly getting worse right now. A lot of people are saying we should not force people to immunize since so many see a mandate to immunize as a violation of their rights. Of course, not getting vaccinated may help spread disease and costs our entire society. So it's not clear to me that the case for personal choice has justification. It goes to show how far to the right the US has shifted.

It’s not just in the US, there’s a measles outbreak in Ontario too. It’s a very troubling trend, and a coin with two starkly different sides, my body my choice, no masks to protect others but also no reproductive rights. The anti science movement is mind boggling. xomo

Thank you lovely! Both indeed, the game how to write about polio outbreak in Gaza and Israel’s refusal to let aid in, seems calling genocide gets one labelled antisemitic. Thought fitting too polo invented in middle east (Persia). xomo
