Beautifully worded Maureen, but I suppose it depends on what your pen is being used for. It seems to me that this poem is in reference to the recent conflicts in Gaza since you chose "the Chosen"... I'm guessing... I'm going to be seeing a Jewish friend of mine in a few days and he and I will talk. If I'm totally off base on my interpretation of this poem... forgive me. Thanks and hugs
