Husbands of the Earth

This generation assembled
in this beautiful morning
on a beautiful planet earth
are holding matrimonial duty
To impregnate this pretty earth
and nine months after gestation
bleed with pains of child birth
and smile with tiredness of labor
But far-fetched is our role today
Matrimonial duties we shun
The earth, our spouse bleeds
with pains, not of child birth
but pains and tears of death
Every pregnancy is greeted
with abortion and still birth

A gripping and horrifying truth in these words Solomon. 7 for your beautiful eloquence and fave, though "fave" wrong word, "kept" more apt xomo

Sad but true, Solomon, we have abandoned our natural past in favour of a future fast.
