I am a senior second generation native Texan.  I've been writing poetry spasmodically since my teen years, but started online about 2003.  My other hobby is painting.  I am as fickle with painting as I am with poetry, trying different kinds.  I find PoetrySoup almost addictive, and have fallen in cyber love with some wonderful poet and poetry.
