Snap Trap

It’s not for lack of intelligence
My inhibitor is on the fritz

A frontal lobe phenomena
I’m prone to gaffes and fits

My amygdalae are loaded
A hair trigger set to snap

Sometimes words escape me
Like rats outsmarting a trap

You are my favorite, 100 of intentional relevance, An exhibitor of every kind of happiness that never quits, Shots fired into a life like scene that is your filmography wrap, I ignore life's maze; and let free will decide where to give a crap.... fav'en this with all my heart dear poet! With heart felt love Mo A.S.

‘Someone will say what is lost can never be saved, Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage’ (Bullet with butterfly wings) by Smashing Pumpkins; I dunno Maureen the lyrics just seemed to act as a trigger point for this powerful piece, perhaps only those with a TBI would understand, hope you’re gaining more control these days, cheers David

Such a great song that. I am generally able to hold it in, it amuses me greatly, literally physically holding it in. Cheers dears! xomo
