Advice To Those Who Plan To Love the Broken: Don'T

And I lay flat with him,
as he took the stars out of is pocket
and placed them back in the sky;
lighting my whole world again
like you once did.

but you taught me better
than to love someone who
takes my soul swimming in depths
where my mental sanity drowns.

and I'll teach all those after me:
Do not stay if the glass is shattered,
you will bleed out before picking up all the pieces.

This imagery is so great, so wonderfully written.... But it is also so true. But how do you abandon a love that is so true, it's so difficult.
