I ask you to remember our family in your prayers today..

This is the final court appearance for the adoption of Karter..

They have to be there at 9 A.M.

The exact time of the appearance before the judge is unknown.

My husband and I were to keep Karter today but they found out that they have to take him with them..

This will be very stressful for all of them..

Karter is four years old now and he loves his parents..His mother is his support system..They have a special bond..

Thanks for each one for their prayers and comments..They(the adpotive parents) will need all the prayers they can get..He is a little handfull..He is wide open and he can talk up a storm..We had been concerned for his development and he learned to walk and talk according to his age group even though he was premature and underweight when he was born..God has blessed in so many ways already..Sara

As a mother nearing fifty, married to a man just over fifty, I know how difficult it can be to raise a young child (my daughter just turned six!). But it also an incredible gift, my greatest joy and I can not imagine my life without my wild girl. I will certainly send prayers for your entire family -- for energy and health and for happiness. Cindy, Only a mother who has been through the child rearing responsibility at that age would understand..I have help care for grandsons in my late fourties and my fifties and sixties but never had the total responsibility on me..Sara

Thanks to each one who stopped by..I heard from Phyllis around 9:25 and they had already seen the judge and the adoption went through..The judge wanted a picture taken of them with him..They will need prayers in the growth and development of this child for they are both 50 years old taking on this tremendous responsibility..Thanks again..Sara

I have a new grandson as of today even though he is four years old..We have considered him ours but he was what we would call a great grandson..Now he is out grandson..
