I've bought a whole pound of Red-Hot Candy If you'd share it with me, would be handy I'd offer a chocolate bar But my thoughts have gone ajar Seeing you draped in curtains organdy

What a fun/cute Limerick write/candy picture. Thanks for the laugh. Looks like we both did this one. "Good Luck"... Did you know, you can put these candies in baked apples when baking them??? Have a fun day writing away.........................

Paula, I have not used them in baked apples. I mostly fry apples now anyway, but I guess you could put them in that. My husband has always liked the red-hots. I used to bake him a chocolate devil's food cake and ice it with chocolate and decorate it with red-hot candy(the kind that was little hearts). We both have diabetes now so we have to lay low on so many items. Sara K

Victor, Red hots are sweet but hot. I have never looked at the ingredients to see if it is cinnamon or if it is actually some type of hot pepper in them. LOL..Yes, we all should leave off most of our sugar even if not diabetic which I am. Sara K
