"The world is God's pure mirror clear to eyes when free from clouds within"Rumi
Yellow sunrise illuminates night sky It chases darkness away to the west Goldfinch sent in to feed by Adonai Each morning, in so many ways, I'm blessed. Yellow sun behind gray clouds, stillness looms Will raindrops begin to fall 'pon the ground Watering the garden, wash pollen, fumes Clearing earth's air and all nature astound No lemony peaks between the clouds' gray There are no flaxen streaks within the blue An eerie feel upon the air, dismays Will unrestrained storm pass unhindered through Yellow sunrise seems to predict no rain. Prayers do protect us, those storms detain

I love the way your sonnet dances, how it spins and twirls with the partner's eyes who patiently waits as the tug is made before ... the drop and hold--suitely done on this special day for me, Sara. Aloha, William

The sun is yellow in spring and it turns golden in summer. This time, in our place, the sun shines over our heads like a flaming ball of fire, radiating unprecedented heat. You were fortunate to have had rains. Enjoyed reading your lovely poem, dear Sara. Congratulations on your win.

Sorry you are experiencing the uncomfortable heat that is present in your country at times of the year. We have heat in the summer months here but not as bad as in your country by what I have seen on TV. thanks for dropping by with congratulations. Sara K

Dearest Sara, I loved how you beautifully captured the interplay between nature's elements and the spiritual realm. The scene of the yellow sunrise seems to symbolize the divine presence, illuminating the world with hope and blessings. Yet, amidst the beauty, I feel there's a sense of anticipation and uncertainty mirrored in the looming clouds and the potential for rain. I also liked how your poetic verses reflect the delicate balance between faith and apprehension and the power of prayer to shield us from life's storms. Like Rumi's words, your poem invites us to see the world as a reflection of the divine, guiding us through moments of both clarity and mystery. - Blessings, Daniel

Why, thank you, Daniel, for the nice review of my work plus the blessings which I am needing about now. Life can issue out some bad circumstances to us, and sometimes we have to pray, tie a knot and hold on. Sara K

Yes, Victor, our daffodils, jonquils, and forsythia have already bloomed and the deep green of the leaves now shines. So many of the trees have finished up with their blooming. Now so many shades of spring green dot the woods which is so beautiful to me. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Yes, Tom, winter is basically gone from here. It is supposed to be in the eighties again today. We started off cloudy but the sun has appeared. I guess the rain chances has passed but still some of that eerie feeling like something is about to happen. Sara K
