A character study done here. You always liked to stir things up. Like a washer agitator You thought your tactics a good touch. Stirring, stirring until worn out A good name you just loved to smear. The fabric ripped, buttons cracked, gone. Desiring to ruin a nonsuch. You'd set the trap, you fishhook baiter. Carrying on life, minutes later You'll never change, your ways all set. But sometimes now at life you clutch. I had hoped you'd change soon, my dear Doing your service still your waiter
This is actually a Bref Double poetry form but somewhat the same as Quatorzain.

Love the use of the word “nonsuch.” It has been a while since I’ve heard it! Great imagery too!

Pot stirrers come to my mind. They rarely learn. I've seen some here at the Soup in the past!!

Andrea, We call them that as well here in our home. Sometimes it is funny and sometimes it is tragic when someone keeps hate flames burning. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

I felt the intensity of your write, Sara. You built a portrait of a troublemaker, brilliantly.

Yes, I have found that with men if they don't change by 35 years old, they probably won't change, but of course, some do. Thank you for your visit. Sara K

I like it, Sara. The saying goes, "some like it hot". I don't think they were really talking about tempers, but some people do seem to enjoy stirring things up too much for me. (DISCLAMER, this is not about any particular person.) Good luck in the contest, Sara. Bill

Bill, Yes, this is about in general of human characteristics. LOL..Some people are just like that. My father was really good in his old age of defining human characteristics. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K

excellent craftmanship with this poem. There are those who seem to thrive on stirring things up. We have a neighbor like that....after ten years I'm convinced she won't change. Best wishes with the contest, hugs, Sara B

The only thing that will change a person like that is to start praying for them and it is even better if done in a group of believers. I guarantee that God will send the Holy Spirit to deal with them. However, it could get worse before it gets better, then the person has the choice to say yes or no, and if they say no, it could even get worse. Thanks for dropping by my page and taking time to comment. Sara K

Sara, you have crafted a great poem that is a character study of someone who enjoys causing trouble and disrupting the lives of others, with the destructive behavior of this individual and the impact they have on those around them. Good luck with the contest

Thank you, Lasaad. It is amazing how some people can be stirrers in life from the time they are 4 years old and they never grow up. Thanks for your kind review. Sara K
