This is lovely Sara, I would have preferred it not centred and you forgot the ... after the last two verses, but I did not take that part of the form seriously... Congratulations on your placement in the contest..

Wow another blitz! I just love this one! Your blitz is making me want to write more of these as yours is focused on a subject and just flows seamlessly dear sara. I always wanted to learn how to do quilts and its amazing how they come in various designs and colors. Tattered quilt. This is a favorite for me. Pleasure always reading your work. another outstanding Blitz, Sara K. You've beautifully described quilts and I like that you began and ended with similar words and phrases...I was especially fond of this one because my mother was a quilter...she would've loved this poem...it would've resonated with her. Thank you, Sara. They are not easy to make the old fashion way where the woman stitched them by hand. Today they are mostly made on sewing machines. Thanks or the visit and kind review of my work. Sara K
