Red sun rising, a day just begun
Partly cloudy that hints of showers
A day with minuscule of golden sun
But house finches feel seeds’ power
Those red head flit, sing, and chirp,
Perched on feeders, a vibrant display,
Their melodies floating those sweet twirps,
A symphony of sound on this day
Spring dances upon the warm air
A celebration of new beginnings
My love blooms like flowers fair
In my heart, a joyful feel winning
Swallows’ feathers light as kisses
Do an aerial dance in the breeze
Land inches away, my nose just misses
Avoids causing me that big sneeze
In the garden, love's sweet embrace,
Hand in hand, hearts beating as one,
Together in this enchanted place,
Underneath the warm, golden sun.
How I long to go there once again
To love's enchanted garden
In sweet delight my soul ascend
As life no longer has me caseharden
