This is something of a surprise. It can be so scary too. It sounds real. However, you have got the right image. Just imagine, the priest coming flying! :) Great haiku Sara.

Valsa, thank you for accepting this one with humor. I meant that the mockingbird went in the church and received Christ as his Savior and now he is a priest. I know a little crazy. Thanks for dropping by . Sara K

this is a clever and well written Senyru. We had mockingbirds in our trees last year; they decided to build a nest and have babies...so whenever we walked in our own front yard, they swooped down coming dangerously close...fuzzy creatures. Enjoyed your poem, Sara K.
